The Hold Steady: The Weekenders

It’s another rather drab day here in the greater north GA mountains and I’m a bit drab myself so I think that calls for some Hold Steady. Craig Finn can rock whether he’s talking about hookers, addicts, John Barryman killing himself, or those two crazy kids who can’t lose at the enjoy. Might have to try a post one day about how Craig Finn’s lyrics make him the better, modern, much more authentic Springsteen but I’m sure it’s been done before. Just an example from this song: “She said the theme of this party is the industrial age, and you came in dressed like a trainwreck”
